The R&S®ZVT is the world's first 8 GHz/20 GHz vector network analyzer to offer up to eight/six test ports in a single unit. Its design, operation, functions, and specifications are very similar to those of the R&S®ZVA. The R&S®ZVT comes without a display and keypad.
The R&S®ZVT vector network analyzers use the same firmware as the high-end analyzers of the R&S®ZVA series, and thus feature the same software functions and options. Like the R&S®ZVA, the R&S®ZVT has one generator for each pair of test ports and can thus be configured to include up to four internal sources. This makes the R&S®ZVT clearly superior to solutions requiring external generators. For example, the R&S®ZVT is capable of performing all sweep modes such as power sweep, segmented sweep, etc. Plus, no remote control sequences are required, thus saving execution time. The R&S®ZVT's multigenerator and multireceiver hardware architecture, excellent RF performance, and versatile software functions make it an instrument that offers unique flexibility and outstanding performance for a wide range of applications:
|
- General multiport measurements – without any degradation of RF performance and avoiding any time loss due to matrix control
- Balanced measurements with true differential stimulation on up to four differential ports
- Measurements on frequency-converting DUTs, e.g. amplifiers, mixers, receivers, etc., requiring only a single unit and extremely short run times
- Pulsed measurements, e.g. pulse profile or point-in-pulse measurements, with up to 16 receivers
- Multichannel receiver with simultaneous sampling of up to all 16 channels, e.g. for antenna measurements
- Enhanced performance by parallel measurements on several DUTs, yielding high throughput in production
